solid on means it is an issue that has an immediate effect on gaseous emissions. if it is blinking it indicates an active continuous misfire.

No im actually looking into buying a decent scanner that i can also use in my 2006 lexus and 2003 corolla. If im turning my back on car mechanics its something i will need to invest in sooner or later
