Service Instrument Cluster @634 Miles, 2022 Yukon XL Denali

Hey all, just thought I’d check in. I’m now at 2400 on the odometer, been error free since dealer cleared the codes…starting to think maybe this was some stuff left over from the manufacturing process or something.

This happens in my work Tahoe every couple weeks, but hasn’t happened in wife’s Yukon yet.

My issue started at less than 100 miles on my 2022 Yukon. The instrument panel goes black, only way to get it back is to turn car off and back on. I've had the yukon a month and it's happened 4 times. Goes into dealer next week.

That happened to my wifes high country. Only thing that got it back up and running was disconnecting the battery. Frustrating!

Wife’s 22 Denali is now doing this, this thread was the first search result LOL.

“Service instrument cluster” with 3000 miles.

It doesn’t sound like there’s a point to taking it to the dealer right now? No TSBs or anything?

Should I just disconnect the battery cable?

If all it is doing is sending the message up, just dismiss it, it basically goes away.
There is a preliminary info document (PIT5901) ...but last time I read it, it just said engineering was working on it.
Just verified here https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10210340-9999.pdf still seems to be "working on it"

And to think, I was going to research if the new digital display could be retrofit on the 2021 which I have. I think, after this, I'll stick to my analog...

Pic worth 1000 words, going to dealer tomorrow, doesn't bode well. Will post back w/ the diagnosis from the dealer. Was hoping to not get to know their service guys too well

I’m having issues too with my 2022 tahoe I jus brought brand new.. they’re going to replace my instrument cluster today.. hopefully that resolves the problem. What did the dealer do for yours?
