Hey guys I'm new to the forum and just bought a 2007 yukon denali. I love the trick but I bought it for cheap cause it had some problems. Upon purchase I replaced the cam position sensor and a few other minor parts. I also just did a suspension conversion from air ride to conventional suspension. I'm wondering if there's any way to shut off my service suspension light. Also this caused my service traction service stabilitrak light and my abs light to come on. .... Could this all be connected? I'm fairly mechanically inclined but the electronics on this truck are unbelievable. Also I get the occasional check engine light for a bad cam sensor timing over advanced or performance bank 1? Any help would be great.

I'm doing the same exact thing to my Denali. You're going to have to bypass the autoride system by wiring in resistors to each shock/strut wiring harness. From what I can tell, you need a 3.9ohm 20 watt resistor. You'll have to cut the harness off and wire each side of the resistor into the 2 separate wires. As far as the auto leveling part of the system, as long as you didn't lower it, you should be ok as long as you keep the sensors connected.

If you have a bad compressor, you might have to get a new one (even though it's not being used) because I think that could trip the dash light.

I posted a thread yesterday about this issue, and my question was how to bypass the auto leveling part of the system completely where I could remove the compressor and auto leveling sensors. I thought I might could remove fuse #61 but apparently this will make the light come on, I'll probably try this in a day or two to find out for sure. No one has replied to my either, so I'm assuming most folks just keep this connected.

On a side note, Arnott makes a conversion kit that comes with standard springs/shocks. Included is a device that you wire into the stock autoride module that bypasses the entire system completely. The kit costs $499 and they won't sell the bypass device separately.

Hiram Thanks for the info. I'll have to wire in some resistors and how that does the trick. How about the abs light? Could that be related. I love this truck but I'm hearing that is spendy to keep on the road.
