OK, so I got C0585, which is rear left actuator circuit malfunction code.
What exactly is that? I, so far, found a spread from bad strut(?) to bad compressor. Compressor starts as it should.
What am I looking at?
Thank you
How old are the shocks? If the electrical connector to the shock is on correctly the problem might be the shock and it needs to be replaced.

Yes. Shock extended all the way down, bellow had no air in it and plug from compressor came out of the shock connector, as the result. That wire for it is awfully short, it barely reached the plug.

Junk Arnott crap. Replace it with OEM and you’ll be good. If you found water in the air lines you need to replace the compressor as well.

Yep, water lines spit out water.
Oh well, at 151 000 miles, that comp served well.
I'll get it replaced, been pondering that for some time.

Best to do the compressor and the shocks at the same time. Buy OEM shocks, the Arnott compressors are good. I'm running an Arnott compressor on my suv.

If you are using aftermarket shocks they may not be sending the correct signal to the BCM and that's why you are getting the code. Chances are that's causing the ride to be bumpy.

To keep the ride from being bumpy disconnect the electrical connector and the shock is going to act like a normal shock.

Yes, knowing GM, if it senses a problem anywhere, it shuts down that system. I know.

OK, so it's fixed.
Was, pretty much as usual, KISS thing.
That infamous driver side shock plug came off again.
I'll zip tie it in place. Tomorrow. I'm beat, I worked 5 hrs on buddies car.
