Just got my 2/3 installed and it rides really close to stock, i am pleased with it. but halfway home my service tire monitoring system message came on, along with the tire pressure light. is this a common problem? any way to reset this light?

Your tire dealer has a gadget to reset the indicators, but if it happens again after that and there is no change in tire pressure since reset, you may have to have a wiz do a work around and not use this feature.

ok, went to my local shop today. they said that the tire pressures were all messed up but they made them all correct but they couldn't do anything about the service tire monitoring system message. should i just give up and bend over and go to the dealer, or does anyone know how to reset these messages?

also, how do i reset the message after i replace the battery in the remote?

Service TPMS Kit? Is the Light Flashing or Solid?

Flashing means One of the sensors is not working. Go to a dealer, have them check out the system. Or call local shops see if they have $$$$Equipment$$$ do check the system. I know some Sears have them HIGH DOLLAR AMOUNT of equipment.

READ THE OWNERS MANUAL to figure out how to reset the tpms sensors on your own. You don't need a dealer for this, nor somebody with a special tool. GM printed a book for you to consult. Try consulting it.

Touché. You shouldn't have any trouble getting one from a dealership, but you're going to pay. My other recommendation is to check Ebay.

As for how to reset the tpms, if you play with the buttons on the dash you should be able to figure out how to start the process. From there all you have to do is either inflate or deflate the tires until the horn honks. The proper order is left front, right front, right rear, left rear. The horn will honk for each tire when the computer received a signal from the tpms in each wheel.
