Hello everyone, I have a question about a transmission filter. I bought the shallow pan filter assuming that is what I had but after looking around online I come to find out that I have a deep pan. I already installed the filter and it fit perfect, looks just like the one that came out. My question is, will this filter harm the transmission? I haven't drove it yet since I'm installing new headers...will I be ok with the shallow pan filter or do I need to get the deep pan filter? Thanks!

unknown at this time.
you need a deep pan filter setup that puts the filter on bottom of pan or you will be sucking air and can eventually cause damage to clutches and band.
