I have asked this question on another forum but havent gotten ne good feedback. I have a 97 tahoe and have recently shaved the hatch handle, but i am wanting to shave my door handles but what do yall think? is it a big hassle or not that bad? the truck will be a daily driver for a lil while till i get my other car running. I am thinking of running the avs actuators and not the cheap ass autolocs. I heard theres alot of problems with them. So if somebody will give me some info on it, and if you have it done show me a pic and a little bit of how you done it or show me a tutorial.

Define hassle...Are you asking if it'll be a hassle to shave the handles or a hassle to have shaved handles on a DD?

I think the only time it would become a hassle is if the actuators took a crap on you and therefore your liked out of your ride :)

Kinda a pain with a DD from what I've heard from people that have them.

You could do something else like rear door handles (without the keyhole) up front painted to match the body, or cut 'n graft some NBS handles on. Just an idea.

My $0.02 is that color matched handles look pretty good on our trucks, a la 99-00 Denali & Escalades.
