To answer the questions not answered, all I had to do is remove the wiper motor and run some wire of my own and that's it. I also left the wiper switch inside but the harness that went to the wiper motor I unplugged and just ziptied back there so it pretty much useless. Then I removed the rear washer fluid pump fuse because I left the washer fluid line intact in the tailgate and if I did not remove that I could possibly soak the tailgate if I accidentally turned it on one day.

Also I don't plan on removing the applique. Mainly because it holds the licnse plate lights and the pop trunk switch and if I removed it I would have to run a switch all the way inside to pop the trunk (which is useless because you have to pull the lift glass as you press the switch and you can't do that from inside) and I would have to find a way to mount license plate lights and have it look good, not possible on a tailgate like the one below, with even the applique shaved.

Looks good bro!

... I never realized you guys were able to open the rear window separately. The Hybrid is one piece aluminum hatch to which the back window is sealed.

I rarely open my rear window. I've seen the secret service roll with their window open. I'd hate to be facing backwards while riding. erlo51.jpg

Obviously I think it looks good!!! When i did my tahoe I left all the factory rear wiper lines and switches intact. Of course you have to pull the motor and all that shit. There is a little check valve that is about 6" from the end of the line where it mounts to the hatch and I just turned it around. So if the button was pressed long enough it might bust the little plastic/rubber hose but I don't think I have ever accidently hit it. That way everything is still there 100% if I ever put another hatch with the wiper on the Tahoe.

yeah, you'd definitely have to do some work with the fender to get it all to flow perfectly like that. I really wanna do a roll pan!!! That's one of the only things I don't like about the NNBS rides is the clunky lookin' rear bumpers....
