I don't think you can get away with trying to lower it with just shortening the links. You'll definitely have to have the springs and shock extenders.. I'm off Guadalupe and McClintock..

I am on apache and price. Is there some one local where I can get the springs and shock extenders?

No. because of the spindles, the whole front geometry stays the same. Nothing changes and it rides smooth..

Try belairtim, he is a vendor here and he can hook you up with a great deal on what you need. I got my kit from him a couple of years ago..

I still have the autoride equipment and it rides smooth as silk even wit 24's and 295/35/24's..

What drop do you have...I want close to the same ride also. I just put a 2-3 Belltech on and took off the 3-4 ground force. I am adding the air ride back on because the KYB Mono shocks can't handle the weight they keep bottoming out so I think I'm going back to air. Plus it still sits like its a 3-4 drop with out the air shocks. I have a brand new set of Bilsteins but fear I will have the same results so I haven't even opened them up....

Mcgaughys 2" drop spindles in the front and 3" drop coils and shock extenders in the rear. I trimmed the autoride links by about an inch to make up for the drop. The auto ride compressor kicks in for about 3 seconds at start up and when I have too many bodies or towing but it stays the same ride height all the time..

I've used belltech and Ground Force and didn't like them. Used McGaughys now in 3 different trucks and I'm extremely happy with the ride and looks..

When it comes to the NNBS Tahoes/Esky/Yukon, McGaughys only wins when it comes to spindle design/quality, nothing else IMO.
