Never done it but I think it would be a fun as hell job!

Do it even, if you rent a mini me for the day, just do it for the experience. I am very grateful to have it. Trackhoe's are such fun.

In the early '80s when I worked at CAT (spiral winder, making hydraulic hose) in Mossville, IL they brought in a Komatsu tractor and put a sign on it that said, "Here's your competition."

I am a CAT man all thew way. But I have a soft spot for the Komatus's too. Been a while though since I played out in the field though. I'm really getting sick of this desk job and want to go back at it.

When you hit 67+ after being in shops 35+ years, sometimes a desk job is what keeps me waking up each day. My set up here is too good to pass up. My body was fighting me a little after being on concrete for all those years. That is why I enjoy just working on my own now, when I have the tools to do the job needed. No pressure and no other customer to meet a deadline for. But yea, desk jobs suck in the scheme of things. I really loved knowing friends that went to college, I was in the service, and when i started working at shops I was making more than some of them that were grunts at the law offices or accountants or etc.....

I think he is getting body mounts and bolts. He did not give a count. Plus, I think the one in the pic is broke off inside. I think?

I went to put on my new running boarda and discovered that my body is not bolted to my frame

The rubber shock mount is pressed into the frame horn. It is internally threaded and the attaching bolt comes from the top. Look under the carpet.

4 or part #9 and 4 of part #10. No broken bolts just not there. I have bolts they came with the running board steps

If you look at the pic it looks like the right side bolt in the pic is put in from the top but the left side bolts come in from the bottom. Why? I can understand that if the bolt head is completely exposed, when installed, on the right side that it can come from the top but from the bottom on the left because it would not be exposed. Plus, I don't see a "shock" mount anywhere in the pic. Am I missing something?
