Thanks for all your input guys, it ended up being my janky brake controller install...or lack there of, had one of the wires grounded that wasn't supposed to be

Anyone know where I can find a good write-up on installing one of these in our trucks? It seems like almost all of the rest of them have an adapter plug that can be used but NOT mine
