Shorter shift handle?

I had the same problem when I had a flip out in my truck. I changed the settings and kept the screen out all the time. That way I never had to worry about it coming out and hitting the shifter. Just another route you could take.

flip outs are so 1990s....IMO (along with the others who say sell it and get a proper radio haha). thats one step above the ol pull out stereos...anyone remember those? u pulled the entire thing out and were supposed to take it with u...by its carrying handle i suppose haha. then along came detachable faces....and no one ever removed them anyway....

I just got a flip out screen in my 2002 tahoe. Is there any way to get a shorter handle to shift, when the screen flips shut it hits the shifter if its in park.

hey did you ever get that handle bent back or replaced?
