Hello folks, about to pull the trigger and I need some feedback on the deal. My last Yukon was a 1996.

2009 Tahoe LT with LT1 and leather, 40k miles and looks good and clean. Car Fax is mostly clean. Recently serviced which included some rotor resurfacing and a couple tires. I will be the third owner. After a little back and forth they want $28k.

Here is the VIN. If any body can run it for me that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance.

I have to have 4WD and he is about 1500 miles away. Love the LTZ though.

X3 on felix's even without the 4wd. Much better deal. IMO, 28k is a little pricey for a 1LT  felix's ride will get around fine with that traction control.

I agree with Burb. Just a bit too much for it. About a month ago I made a purchase for a fully loaded 4x4 (except NAV) Yukon with 38k on the odometer for a little less. It also had 4 brand new tires bc they were covered under warranty.

I can go without 4X4 for 5, 6 or 7 years at a time. But when that one year comes along where I really need it badly, it's nice to have. During the winter of 2009 we had several 24 inch snows with very haphazard plowing, if any, for days.

And for the record, as much as it hurts to admit, the best performing 4X4 I have ever owned is an Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. I still have it and would rather head out in deep snow in it as opposed to my Ford Excursion. I have yet to see how well the Tahoe performs in a deep snow.

This is the Explorer, and the remnants of one of our 24" snows....
