Should I pick up an LS6 cam or something else?

Wes,
I wanted to make sure on year of truck, since it was piggybacked on someone elses original post.
Jenna has made some excellent post regarding this.
if you want more lowend, 4.10 or 4.30s would do it, and LPP makes soem LT and ORY headers for under $500 that are stainless, and 1 3/4" primaries, 3" collector.
Then, a tune would really wake it up.

yea im thinking the LPP headers. what are the ORY headers i googled it and couldnt find anything. and im thinking i want to do a cam as well. Ive read a little about it and ive heard the 112lsa has a good sound to it which i would like but i want to get decent power out of it to. the 114lsa would get a better curve? also when you do a cam do you have to replace all the parts like the spring rods and all that?

ORY is off road Y pipe, taking from header collectors, to the stock 3" pipe. It takes out the stock cats.
Cam, if you change it, I would get hardened pushrods and yes, new springs.

Depends on the cam, and no I wouldn't recommend driving it hard until you have it tuned.

Not really 0-60, mostly just daily driving. There is a 7-8 week wait list for a cable tune, if you are wanting to go that route you might want to look into the AutoCal. Shoot [email protected] to get in the queue.

ok well i usually i drive it pretty hard since i dont drive it to work and its just the weekend ride but when i emailed justin he said they would need crusing, moderate acceleration, and full throttle acceleration. so i shouldnt really do that with the cam in then?
