PEOPLES...you ride looks killer, huge fan as my wifes is almost a clone. she would rather lift it, but i would prefer the lower route...

if the front doesnt settle, i would recommend a 3" rear coil. or possibly a 1/2" spacer for the rear coil...just fine tune to your liking

I tricked the wife into getting some struts for the front . Planning on lowering the front an inch.

Hahaha sounds like me and my wife.
Magride failed on her 16 xl denali. Went with bilstein 5100 fronts and arnott rears. Convinced her it needed a belltech 2/4 kit.
Think I need to adjust the rear autolevel links because it still looks abit on the high side. But we'll see how it settles on the coming weeks.

Hi guys, I’m the original owner of this 2015 Yukon xl. Has 85k miles now and wanted to update the look so I did a Belltech 1019 2/4 drop w 295/35/24s. My truck had factory 20s prior and I was in need of tires and brakes so thought it was a great time to change it up. I like the look but not the ride quality. It feels smooth on Highways but driving around town in NY it’s so noisy and sounds awful. I feel like the shop that installed kit didn’t install it correctly or something not right. I brought it back and they said my front shocks and springs are probably worn after they talked to a Belltech rep. My truck drove silent and super smooth before the spindle drop and 24s. The noise is definitely coming from up front. I hear a clunky clutter noise at low speeds going over normal roads with small bumps and cracks in road. It just doesn’t seem right. Not sure if I should just get new shocks on 4 corners and see if that solves the problem. I feel like if you guys have lowered these and ride quality became terrible nobody would be happy and continue to do this. Hopefully I can get to the source of the problem and get back to enjoying the truck. Any suggestions on what it may be? What’s best riding shock to get on these trucks? Thanks

Looks great. What size are the wheels? Do you have the mag ride/auto ride?

at 85K on crap roads,,,i would look into new struts and rear shocks. i just lowered a 2018 tahoe with 55k miles, and i could compress the rear shock easily with 1 finger.

the spindle up front should not be the issue, that is a cast hard part. possibly starting to hear play in the hub bearing as well.

for the rear, at 4" was the free travel mod performed or at the very least, a shortening of the bump stop ??? look into that, as it can cause a harsh ride and noise if loaded down.

for overall ride, the 22 really hurt that, a 20 makes a huge difference in side wall height
