Thanks brother. Just popped the front wheels off. Went with the suspension max for the mag ride since they're still going strong.

Hoping to get 1.75" up front tonight if possible, then I can get the atturos on and aligned.

Running the 5100s in my Tahoe and they're firmer than I'd like. Haven't tried them on a coilover yet. You like em compared to mag-ride? I like the how mag ride handles on this XL

What did you use to cut it? I see a Dremel.. but curious what what wheel you used. I assume that is a sanding drum on there in the photo. Just curious if the cut off disks will gum up...

Used your standard 426 reinforced disc. Didn't gum up bad but went with the heavily used already disc. I cut right on the notch of the dam almost like it was the intended cut here. She just glided right through er. Pulled off any melted chunks and then smoothed across a few passes with the grinding bit and a little sand paper. A wide file would've worked well too

I'm hoping I have time to do mine this weekend. It needs trimmed up desperately. I work on new power line transmission right of ways. We cut some decent sized water bars into our access roads to help keep them from washing out. I've noticed the airdam dragging quite a bit. If I don't cut it.. It might remove itself lol.

Pictures are a little deceiving as the concrete is sloped down. Covid and backorders made things fun for sure. Happy so far.

Bilstein 5100 (3rd ring 1.25”)
BFG KO2s 275/70R18

Fenders (before):
Driver Front 35.25, Driver Rear 38
Passenger Front 35.5, Driver Rear 38

Fenders (after):
Driver Front 37.5, Driver Rear 39
Passenger Front 37.75, Passenger Rear 39

So far no rub. OE wheels and even stock tires are super close to the UCA at full lock, if these rub it will be very minimal.

Any rubbing?

I have a similar setup but running 265/65r18 street tires, once these wear out, I would love to get some nice meaty at tires like yours!

I ended up doing it (suspensionmaxx) and am very happy with the results. Subtle but i like it. Here are side by sides using a floor jack to simulate, left pics are 2” only, right pics are 2” front plus jacked up 1” rear.

Looking good Nick. So all said and done you went with the RC 2" up front and 1" suspensionmaxx stack's in the rear? Did you install the shock extension brackets as well?

Correct on the 2 front and 1 rear, my Yukon has standard shocks so I read no need for extensions. Getting in there and doing the install I concur there’s plenty of travel left and it feels fine on rough roads.

I used the maxracing 1.5" kit off amazon. If you are planning on replacing the shocks, you're better off just getting the Bilstien 5100's as they are height adjustable. If my truck wasnt brand new thats what I would have done (its what I did on my Ram) Also trimmed the front air dam.

Did you use the supplied hardware with these? Any issues? Just ordered this same kit for the wife's 17 Tahoe.
