I am trying to find some cheap, yet effective back up lights, my tint sucks at night, and I came across some LED cheap-o lights at walmart for $25, and I was curious to see where/how you guys mounted them. Also, can they be wired/spliced into your factory back up lights....

I went with rigid led lights. $90 but well worth it. I mount them at 45 degree angle on the outer portion of bumper on each side.

You'd be surprised how well some of the newer cameras work in low light conditions using only the stock reverse lights for lighting. I don't see having brighter reverse lights helping you see through 5% tint any better at night.

A backup camera with night vision is way easier to see at night than just backup lights.

I got a cheapo $17 back up cam from ebay and I got 5% tint over the factory tint, and the back up cam helps more than you would think.
