Side view mirrors

Does anyone know if you can pop out just the mirror on the door mirrors? I have to replace just the mirror part can't really replace the whole mirror as its painted

The mirror is just glued to the plate behind it. Take something flat, like a putty knife, and gently push and/or pry it off. If you're lucky, it will just pop off. Wear gloves. don't want to cut yer hands. Maybe cover the door with a towel, or something like that also, so ya don't scratch the paint if it does pop off. Glue the new mirror on with an epoxy. You can order a new mirror online, a local glass company, or even a auto parts store may have one in stock. Good luck.

Thanks Yukon96 I thought it would just pop out nice and easy, oh well I might try your method, but I'll leave it alone for now since it's not broken someone glued a new mirror on top of a busted one, just bugs me

I will recommend you to open the whole side mirror its very simple and it will make the replace much easier
I did it last week it took me about 15 minutes

Well the link you have there shows for 94-97 I don't believe there is a whole lot of difference, but that chart doesn't show anything about how the parts go together

unknown at this time.
it is vaguely in the part description. once the mirror is broken out you pull out the retainer ring to pop out the mounting plate the the new one just snaps and locks on iirc.
