I dont like them. I fell for the scam on my 06. They actually produce less light than stock. the blue coating makes them appear brighter but they are not, the coating reduces actual light. Consumor reports even proved this. Either get HIDS or stick to stock.

I bought them for my trailblazer, and that's why I never put them in.

Another good option for a great bulb are the Halo Icon bulbs. Come with a lifetime warrenty from Custom Creations. www.shopcustomcreatins.com I have them and I love them.

that coating again will just reduce headlight preformance. Only way to get brighter headlights is a different housing, higher wattage halagon bulb, changing the bulbs projection (like HIRS), Or just going HID.

I put them in our 2002 and they are really excellent, and for $50 they're a great alternative to HID's.

Anyone running Silverstar headlights? I was thinking about upgrading from the stock bulbs and looking for input pro or con... Thanks.

I have them for both HI and LOW in my Impala and I like them. They are brighter, whiter and project longer than stock bulbs. They will burn out though. I would suggest not flashing the hi/low too much. If Tahoe lights are that hard to get to I don't know if I'd use them. Besides, last I looked they were not made for the '09 yet.

Does 09 use different bulb sizes? I have an 08 and someone sold me what they thought would be lows for mine but they were high. He said "well my book says this fits 07!" so I guess they change them up every year?
