Small Crack in Transfer Case Control Module!!

So the hoe was leaking some transmission fluid. Mechanic thought it was the seal so I had one put on, only to find there is a small crack in the transfer case module. Mechanic thinks It might be a small weld fix or a new transfer case. Any thoughts..Should I just replace it?

My transfer case is magnesium. No welding. Had to replace one half once because of a design flaw. $360.00 about 8 years ago.
