Still have not ordered the lift yet.
Right now I am trying to decide on front struts.

Also I plan to add air helper springs to the rear to keep things level if needed. And I will be using a weight distributing hitch as well.

Right now I'm thinking I will just use new OEM front struts. But I am still looking at other options as well.

What do you guys think?

If you are putting the level kit on (spacers), the front OEM struts will top out when fully drooped. Really not an issue for normal street driving, but really noticable off-road. IMO check out the Bilstien 5100s.

If you have the money and want the best ride (IMO), you cannot beat a coil over like Fox or Icon. Those will be about $1k. I installed ICONs on my other rig and they are awesome. Right now considering putting them on the Tahoe, but that depends if we are going to keep it long term.

Well I ordered the Bilstein 5100 front struts today.
Also ordered 1/2" front lift kit. So that should put me at 2.25" of lift in the front.
For the rear I ordered a 1.5" lift kit with shock extenders. Will have to wait till it gets here to see if the extenders are the right size for sure.
Also the rear shocks I bout are from a Yukon XL. So they should be a little bit stiffer then the stock shocks that come on the Yukon.
There still Nivomat shocks as they came off a Yukon XL with the ZW7 suspension.

I'll post up how every thing went with pics and such when I get it all on around the 27th.
