Smell?

Hey guys cleaned my engine with gunk works amazing btw but I think I didn't rinsed a few spots and now I am positive that it's getting hot, that's the smell right? Sorry I'm just super nervous. Went driving for a bit up to 75 and no problems what so ever so I'm almost positive that's it am I right?

Would water cause that everything was triple wrapped with that sticky wrap and aluminum foil no water touched anything electrical
