Serge its the press down and pull type. I have the imprint of that stupid tab on my fingers from pushing all day. I think I might just need to put a little english on it and rip it apart

Mmm, can't you find something to slide in between the two connectors to loosen it up?

Sometimes I use the little thin eyeglass flatheads you can buy at CVS ... but something similar would work. If not to pry them completely apart, at least to be able to squeeze the wd40 applicator tube in there.

Ya Ill give it a go, either way there coming out tomorrow. If I spray some WD40 in there do you think it will effect the harness at all?

I can't see why it would, it shouldn't get in the actual contact points unless you go nuts spraying.

Nah just a little, wait half an hour and see what happens. And try not to get it on the outside too much cause you'll never get a grip to pull them apart. :)

Thank you Serge the WD-40 got the harness off with a little added grip and rip. Sorry for the delay had a few interruptions this morning. I decided I like the lights without tint on them and will look even better when my Esky third arrives. Only problem I ran into during install (besides getting the harness to unhook!) was the wires for my resistor box were very short and mad it difficult to find a place to mount. Annnnnyway here are a few pics, will post more when its dark

Where were you trying to mount the resistors?
The best place for them is right at the back of the housing so they come off with the tails.

Looks beautiful btw.

Hmm well when I looked at it, it seemed like it wouldnt let the tail light mount flush but that may have just been me. But either there on and I can still remove the tail light and access reverse if it needs replaced, I plan to have these for awhile. Thank you, I really like the look better without the tinted lights, think im gonna take the truck a different direction.
