We all know what we drive - and its always chit chat on here about our trucks.. How about we lighten the mood a little and get to know one another :)

So - what do you do for a living - where are you from? Heck you never know what kind of networking may come of it either.

I'll start...
From NW Burbs of Chicago, IL

Worked as a package engineer from college for Pepsi, Quaker Oats, Gatorade + Tropicana..

Walked in one day and learned I no longer had a job. SO rather than "The Man" telling me what was up I started my own biz

deal in powersport parts + accessories. Boats, Snowmobiles, Dirtbikes, Atv's etc.. sell new / used / oem parts www.bkboatnsleds.com

So what's your story :)

OH.. p.s - was always a jeep guy - has TJ, CJ, ZJ, WJ, JK.. but now on my 3rd tahoe.. :)

oops. f-ed up the thread title. lol

can u also get motorcycle parts street bikes?

43 years young here ........

Born & raised in Newport Beach, CA

Attended USC, NDSU and graduated ASU (University of Southern California, North Dakota Stae University, Arizona State University)

BS / Marine Biology
Associates / Business Management

Started my first business @ 17 with an automotive detailing shop in Irvine, CA (first year revenue nearly 60k). Sold out to a competitor so that I could attend college.

After graduation, I started another much larger detailing shop offering both dealer & public services, window tinting & upholstery restoration. First year had me hiring 7 employees to keep up with demand with overall sales/revenue nearly $110k. Sold out to business partner 1994

Married - 6/5/1995
Set Free - 10/13/2001 :)

1995 - 2009
Lived in North Dakota, Colorado, Michigan, California, Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, Florida, Milan-Italy, Melbourne-Australia and finally Austin, Texas (THE BEST!!!!).

Went to work for Intel as a tech support guru, then IBM building custom ordered main frame and work station computers ........ eventually starting my own business as a network design specialist. Basically, I supported (now living in Phoenix, AZ) a group of 61 realtors with their entire network, new builds, updates and implementation of new designs/software.

Lots went on between here & there, however I am back where I belong in the automotive restoration world. Approaching my second year in Austin, TX now and with NO advertising other than a website and "word of mouth" from past & present customers; I am on target to see my business have it's most successful year since I first started at 17 years of age.

The best thing is that it's a passion that I have and I am well paid to do it ........... does life get any better? :Handshake:
