Right now I'm looking up cold air kits and there seems like there's two different selections with the 07/08 and 09+ intake kits. I thought there wasn't anything different with the engines and GM wrote on paper the 23hp bump for the 6.2 09's (yet kept the same torque )

K&N lists part 3058's for 07/08 and the 3070's for 09's.

What's the differences? They move things around in the engine bay at the time? E85 compliant tubing perhaps?

It's an 08, The only differences I could find is the Flexfuel models started in 09 which of course comes with some different components. As for the 380hp rating I think it was typical gm strategy to sell more escalades with the 23 more hp on paper.

Ya 07-08 mafs are inline units and then then went to bolt in mafs into tubes. Let me know if you want a cold air kit, I can do a new kit for $220 shipped for the 57-3058

If I remember correctly the flex fuel option was available on the 07s.

You guys have a yellow fuel cap or a flex badge on the rear gate?

I thought the 07-08 was L92 engine and after was the L94 with flexfuel and active fuel management.

Mind you guys, i am speaking of the 6.2L

Blackoh7, I'll let you know if I purchase one of the kits off you.

I looked for a year till I found my Tahoe w/ the options I wanted. Been looking ever since for a 6.2 Tahoe. I dont want AWD thats why I stuck w/ the Tahoe unless I could find a nice 2wd Escalade lol. Its mainly for haulin the race car anyways
