I was thinking the same thing. I bet with just a slight mod to the floor to mount in that plate you could get one to work.

I have a 2011. What is different about the 2012? How does one know if it will fit the 2011?
Do you have a part number?

I did some checking on it this morning and I'm pretty sure 2011 is when they changed the rear seats. I looked at some pictures of 2011's and some 2010's and I can say for sure that the 2010 has the old style floor, and it looks like the 2011 is like my 2012. I'm including a picture of the 2010 I found. If you look around the base of the seat the floor is raised up around it.
