I got it all together. I'll test it prior to putting the tank back in. I'm just hoping it all goes back together a lot easier than it came out.

Tested and all put back together. Ran it up to the local gas station and put $40 in and it showed about half tank so the fuel float seems to be working as expected as well. Happy to have her back on the road. Thanks again, everyone.

What was the issue a cranky O ring fighting to go back in?
Not the o-ring, the pump just didn't fit the hole and I had to use a lot of force (hitting with rubber mallet) to get it to go in. The lock ring was pretty easy to get on. Several videos I watch didn't have this problem at all. Go figure. Glad to have the repair done.

I didn't have a hard time installing the new Bosch # 67442 Fuel pump module in our 07 Denali a few months ago?
