@Fless are there ground connections that might affect this or would other problems pop up too?

I'm not familiar with the later models but I suspect -- if the circuit description message ("circuit low") is accurate -- that a reference signal (5v?) is missing or compromised. Just a guess, though.

Problem resolved...hopefully. Replaced the MAF sensor (again) and all is well, thus far.
