Here are 2 pics of the back end of the car leaning in 2 different areas you can see the resting on the exhaust they arent the best pics to show how bad the lean is but you can see it.

It's really common to see an older truck with aftermarket pipes that don't quite look even, that could be something as simple as a pipe hanger/mount, or even an off bend or weld...

As for the unlevel frame, after reading the thread I dont really have any more ideas. You've checked almost everything

i thought the pipes could be physically off they measure almost even from ground to pipe not uneven enough to be against the body they are off between 1/8" and 1/4" but it isnt enough to really tell when looking at them the only thing is the driver side body is resting on the pipe i dont know what to do at this point..... I adjusted the torsion bars today and they front fenders are 35.5"s those are now even the frame is measuring just about even all within 1/8" but the rear body is still drooping on the driver side and i eliminated the gas tank droop as i have measured it with a full tank and when the guage was on E..... i guess the only thing left i can think of would be possibly a cracked leaf which I cant see without them being taken off the car and thoroughly checked out..... any agreement or disagreements here? btw I dont work the undercarriage i work the engine and interior parts lol so I am out of my league with the problem I am having. I appreciate all input and help

so with everything if i cant figure it out and i dont want to take it to a shop.... if i go have a 2-3" lift put on do you think that it will get fixed or atleast they will notice it and figure out what it is? also I am thinking i should get a suspension lift and not a body lift. you guys let me know whats best i do a lot of desert driving and offroading with this i wont be getting a lift for a few months have to save some money for it ( i dont know how to install a lift ) so if you guys could let me know what you all think and still hope to find the answer to this lean myself i am about to just try to get some money to put new leafs on etc

Use this method to do suspension methods are report back here with your results.

See, I learn new stuff everyday.
I didn't know the space between the top of the rear axle and the bottom of the bump stop is supposed to be ~7".

Sunlit is right. Measure that space on each side. I'll bet that the drivers side space is 1" less than the passenger side, which would show a problem with the drivers spring pack visible or not.

BTW, based on THIS thread, 35.5" high fronts may be the height of the TB's cranked. IE lifted already.

i read that thread and the 1 guy said his tahoe stock on little rims/stock is at 35.5 in the front..... i am still going to go with the other guy had a lift on it and did a bad job taking it off as when i was checkin the tb's yesterday they werent even 1 bolt all the way out the other in so i just got it even to a 35.5" fender to ground.... ok so i guess its pull the leafs and check them out... anyone know cheapest place to get the leafs? and since i am going to have them off etc anyone have any advice or info for a lift so i can get that all evened out and get it up another 2-3"s should i just do a block or add a leaf....

well buddy i would probably tell the fat chick to get out of the drivers seat!!! just kidding the leaf spring in the trucks have alot of weight on the and i believe you said it has alot of miles on it right? it may be that man the guy i got mine from had to rob some off a junk yard truck cause he said mine were sagging... id check it should only cost around 100 smacks and a couple hours of work! good luck! mine sags now because the blocks are too small

has 140k miles on it..... does anyone have theirs stock right now? if so could i get measurements from your frame to the ground...ground to each fender and bumper etc so i have a referance as to how far off mine is........I think overall i am going to find i have weak leafs on the drive side so will have to do something about that think ill check junkyards for a set, call the local places see how much to re-arch them and also check prices for add a leaf or the places to make me a leaf here find the cheapest route to go....

I found a set of skyjacker leafs can you guys give me some opinions on this..... I dont want to go too high so i am sticking with the 2" in rear i think so I can keep the front up without having to change torsion keys etc in the front if i am wrong on this theory let me know here is a link if you guys can give me your opinions
