I know right.. And the funny thing is that they are not even a year old.. with that said, im just going to replace all 4 again... Good thing one of the managers at Advance Auto parts takes good care of me since i have spent over 4500 bucks in less than a year with them.. hahah So i called him up and he said he would order those monroe shocks and i wouldnt have to pay.. they will be in tomorrow after 12 and just to bring the old ones in and get the new ones.. for my front tires i have KYBs and he told me all i would have to do is in order to get them in since he has to order them, i would have to pay for them first and once they come in and i replace the new ones for the old ones, just to take the old ones back and i would get my money back..

Now that i have to do all this, what is something yall can suggest me of doing in adition of all this so i can have a smoother ride? like rubbers on the suspension or anything...

I looked at this kit and man im thinking about getting it but its like 300 bucks... Now if i do get it, do you know if it comes with all the rubbers it need other than the tranny and engine mount...? also, do u know if its fairly easy to install all of them? And how is that done? Thanks

The bigger kit usually have everything bushing wise for any steering rod boots required, sway bar, control arms, body mounts(stock height), leaf springs and such. The kit I got from energy suspension(Not installed yet). It did not have rear sway bar engine and tranny. But those are available. My kit was $220 at Amazon. Each kit is different so post year, model, door #, drive type, etc and I will find you a kit list.

It is always good to have that info in your signature line.

yea... Well its a 99, 4 door, 4WD, 5.7, LT, etc... now if i go with a 6 inch lift, could i leave these one or do i have to change them...? and the shocks were not the problem, the problem was inside the right rear brake drum.. i opened it up and there was black sludge building up in there... i think its the cylinder. i just took it off and im cleaning all inside of it.. is there anything i should do to the breaks like some kind of grease before i put it back together? and is there like a outline of how they suppose to go back together?

If the lining is contaminated with brake fluid the shoe set must be replaced. A new ACdelco Wheel cylinder is $20 there are spots on the backing plate where the shoe framing rubs up against. 6-8 spot I think that should get clean and dabbed with grease. But make sure where the leak is coming from. Is the sludge actually on the cylinder or around the axle shaft?

No big kit for the 99 4x4 but can get arms, front and rear sway, body and leafs separately as well as engine and tranny parts in a kit of both.

Usually lifts come with bushing for say a control arm that might be replaced with a modified one. research your lift option and get polys for anything not covered in lift parts. BTW the polys come in red or black. Printed page 58 on link below takes you to your vehicle near bottom of page. eng/tran bottom of page 20. Search online at amazon, summit or jegs to name a few by part number.

And thanks for everything.. ur a big help.. i might do all this in a week or 2 since i didnt pull the shocks but they will all be pulled out and replaced by new ones covered under warranty...
