Well 0 offset is safe for 295/55R20 but the 305 will rub a little more. The more + offset equals no rub so 20x9 +15 can run 305/55 with slight trim. 20x9 -15 will rub even with 295/55 and require more cutting. The NorCal mod helps to prevent any rubbing on the rear fender. The front edge of fender is the pain as the plastic bracket that holds the bumper corner doesn't allow for much room to cut the corner for clearance. Pro comp sells some brackets to help trim the front bumper to run bigger tires.

So I've seen mention of fitting 35's on 2.5/1.5 lift with 'a lot of cutting'. Has anyone actually done it?
If the major clearance problem is the front fender, then would an aftermarket tube bumper totally fix that? I really really really want to stuff 35 12.5's in without lifting it any more.

35's will be tough. I have 18" Fuel wheels running 33 x12.50 Toyo RT Open Country's without any problems. but I have a 1.5" lift up front plus Fab Four front and rear steel bumpers. The front bumper gave all the room necessary and a slight pounding in of the bottom rear of the front wheel well made everything fit. 35's would have been impossible without major lifting or cutting on the front.

Ordered my wheels today with +12mm offset. Then will be getting 35x12.5 tires on them.
My plan is to try to cut enough clearance for them to fit with just my 2.5/1.5 lift. But if there is just no way it's going to happen then I'll lift it more. 2" body lift is looking pretty good.

My Fuel Trophy wheels (D552) are 18x9 with 5.75 backspace which I think only moved it out about 1" over stock backspacing. Good luck on the 35's. The 33's look much better than the 31's so the 35's should look awesome.

Tube bumper will help but then you will have to do the large NorCal mod. Still will end up needing the 2" body but then it would look pretty sweet. I would do the body over tube bumper.

I talked to the tire shop last night and the guy said more than likely it will be the 2756020 but we could try a couple other sizes and see if I can stuff a bigger set in
