do you know a local bodyman thats a pretty good friend of yours? If so id buy the next one wrecked and save ya close to 5 grand. Im looking at a nbs as well right now and some gtps/gxps/gtos wrecked, ill save myself close to 10 grand doing all the work myself. Then after college ill sell it or before college. I belong to a website where they sell wrecked cars all day for cheap

I only paid 8 for my '01 denali with a 75k on it. You should be able to get a decent amount for it...I just sold a '93 grand cherokee I got from someone that couldn't pay their debt. I sold it for 2500 and it had 185k on it and looked like crap.

what if you buy a cheap beater for the nicer gas mileage? thats what i did and for winter. i went out and bought an 01 grand prix SE for 2500 bucks. needed nothing. super clean car. gets me 33 mpgs around highway!

same here. thats 450 more than i paid for it, but with all the shit i've done to it. i say even trade. I just hope i can find me a nice little daily to get me by til i get my NBS. lol
