I had to get my inspection done today. When the guy was done he thought that my Yukon was a 2011. It's an 07. I suppose taking care of your stuff makes a difference :fuckyea:. The po also took care of it but never had a detail like I do done to it. Just thought I'd share.

Nice. I had a full detail done to mine about a month ago, and everyone was telling me how good it looks. Just makes jelly.

Its funny when that happens, like when someone you just meet thinks you make a ton of money because you're driving a Tahoe LTZ. I'm like dude, its an 07 with 100K on it. I paid less for this than you did your new Civic.

 I think some people associate size of vehicle and condition of vehicle with wealth. I get the same reaction from people about my Suburban and I think it's mostly because it's in nice shape and still the newer body style (for a little bit longer at least). The don't realize that it has 130k on it and that I got a incredible deal on it when we bought it 3 years ago LOL

Same thing here. No one knows that I have an electrical mess in my Yukon, but everyone thinks that it's expensive and in pristine condition. They all think Daddy bought it and I really wish they were right, I'd probably be able to fix it if he had.

Oddly enough, anytime anyone else drives it NO ONE has any problem with it. I rarely drive my own vehicle on the weekends, I just throw the keys at whoever has had less to drink than I have and tell them not to wreck it.

 Yes, but it's not any more expense than gas in the earlier models either  it costs the same for all of us.

It's so true. I have literally the only full size suv at my college, and people look at me like I shouldn't be there. My friend has a 2011 civic, and my 07 was less than his car. But looks 100x more valuable lol.

You don't have to be rich to own a nice vehicle. You do, however need to be rich to be on TYF. The modifications never end when your on here.
