Anyone else hate seeing Sonic carhops rolling up to their vehicle on roller skates? Several years ago when I had just got my new Explorer a carhop crashed into the drivers side and spilled drinks down the side. I just got my new Tahoe a couple months ago and spent the day cleaning it. I went to Sonic last night to treat myself to a shake after all of the hard work. The drive through was packed so I pulled into one of the stalls. In my side mirror I see this young guy on skates heading my way who looked like a deer trying to run on ice. As he gets up to my vehicle by some miracle he is able to stop before completing smashing into my rear drivers side door. He say's it's his first day being a carhop on skates. Two times while giving me my order I hear his plastic tray banging into my door. I told him to be careful with that tray. Maybe I am just turning into a grouchy old man but damn that drives me nuts.
