depends on vehicle style choice im going for more sport truck look so i like my running boards as it covers the underbody from showing frame

I prefer none as mentioned but agree that nerf bars look better than the running boards.

Nerf bars, for lifted trucks. Running boards for sporty looking trucks, certainly if you have exhaust the exits to the side infront of rear wheel.

A work in progress
Nerf bars.. only because when is snowed christmas eve my running boards filled up w/ snow and I almost broke my a$$ getting in my truck. Nerf bars look better too
