I have a 2015 TAHOE LT, and I just started noticing a sound that sounds like metal creaking when I am braking at low speeds like 10mph and below. Most of the time around 5 MPH. Only thing I did was to put 24" rims on my car. I did some research and my rims are one piece rims so I know its not made of 2 or 3 pieces and the metal of the rims rubbing together. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

check your wheel torque. If not properly torqued, you can experience that sound.

I would check your brake pads. I had to replace mine because the inside pad was dragging/completely worn out. The outside pad was due to be changed but not even with the inside one. Just a thought.
