My tahoe came with factory 22" wheels. I just noticed I have no spare. We got it used so I need to get one for it. Anybody know what size I need. dealership doesnt know. Neither does the local parts recyclers.

You want to have the same size spare? Just roll with whatever your tire size is now. I dumped my spare but thats because I have 22's as well along with 24's. My 22's tire size is a 285/45/22. I would just get an extra rim of the same rims that came with the vehicle when you bought it. Hope that helps.

I was after the stock type spare but now you got me thinkin of getting another stock 22 and tire. Now I need to know if it will fit under the hoe in the stock location.
Sure it will fit, your spare HAS TO BE the same size as the other 4 wheels meaning your original spare whether it was a 16" or 17" rim had the same overall height.
