spark plug gap?

Sorry for maybe a routine question but what is the gap on a 5.3 stock engine?
The guy at the auto parts said.60 and my originals came out with .45.

ok after further reading and google, I am going to install with the .040 gap for iridium plugs.:Stupid Me:

Don't change the gap! If you get the correct iridium factory replacement plugs, they'll already be gapped where you need them. If you try to mess with them, you may break or bend that tiny electrode. If you're putting cheaper non-iridium plugs, .040
