Ok so I have a 2001 chevy tahoe LS I have seen several people swicth out the normal stock chevy tahoe speedometer for the Cadillac escalade speedometer I would like to do the same but I don't want to screw anything up because I notice that the escalade speedometer goes up to 120mph and the tahoe goes up to 100mph there is also the transmission temperature gaguge. So I guess what I am asking is if I try to remove the stock tahoe speedometer and switch it with the escalade one do ihaft to do any difficult rewireing because of the transtemp and the because it goes up to 120mph.

No sir, just plug and play. As long as it isnt a 2003 and up cluster (correct me if im wrong fellas). Our trucks are set up for tranny temp gauge but GM was being cheap with older tahoes IMO.

nope, the trans temp works perfectly with the cadi cluster. just make sure to check your local laws regarding the milage. in some states you can get in big trouble for altering. especially if reselling the vehicle

One more question

Does any body know how to set the milage back after I replace the speedometer?
