My speedo is stuck at 17 MPH when standing still and also 17 MPH faster when moving. I noticed it after 2 things: 1. I was using my cruise for about 20 miles. 2. I think was stuck in traffic for the last 20 miles. I haven't noticed any major shifting changes or problems. No lights are illuminated either.

Turn off the truck and it is still pegged at 17MPH. Went out this morning and it is now about 14 or 15 MPH.

Not sure if it was just a gust or in my mind, but when using cruise I thought it may have skipped a beat for a quick second.

I haven't seemed to find any info on this for the 07-14 years. More the older generations.

Anyone have an actual fix that worked for them? Instead of just guess it is the VSS or wheel sensors...

If you do this repair, before you remove the gauge needles turn them to the their ccw resistance point -- it's easy enough to feel -- and mark the needle tip position with some tape on the gauge face and a marker. That way when you reassemble you'll know the exact position for the pointers.
