When it warms up I am going to start working on my 08 LS. I am going to buy some Eastwood rust encapsulator. I would like to spray it underneath on the frame and other places in that area. Do I need a certain type spray gun? I tried this before on an old Jeep Cherokee just using a cheap plastic spray bottle, but it worked a little but seemed to clog up quickly.

There are air guns specifically for spraying thicker material for rust proofing. I bought mine through Sears (yes......Sears for you younger folks) about 7 or 8 years ago. It is a metal canister with changeable hoses with different spray patterns. Google fluid film spray gun. It looks similar to that and works about the same. I've also used a cheap harbor freight paint sprayer, but it seems to atomize it too much to be useful.

This one is from Amazon and is about what I paid for mine. There are other options, but this is what will make the job go well and turn out properly

I sprayed raptor liner. It came with a spray gun. Worked awesome. Only trouble is for your application, it doesn't come with bottles. The gun takes the raptor liner bottles.
