New to the forum...and just purchased a 99 Yukon. I love it but a few little aggravating repairs need to be done.

I have a squealing that just won't go away. I've changed out the Idler Pulley and the problem is still there.

Should I check a different source or am I missing something?

If it's the fan belt (area) take the belt off spin the pullies by hand.
Could also be the belt.
Does it squeal cold then stop when hot, squeal when you turn, run the ac, etc...

I'll have to try that, I've already replaced the Idler Puller and the squealing went away for maybe a day then it came right back.

Probably the belt.
Can you spray water on it, does it quit?
Got some power steering fluid on the belt of my 03. (back end in my sig.) Belt squeals cold now. Been so for about year.
