Since I bought this truck two years ago, this has annoyed me.
When it is raining the drivers window is squeeking. It is really a loud and terrible sound. Like metal against glass. The window does not have any marks what so ever on it though.
Any one else experienced this before?
The previous owner had the motor changed once.
I will take of the inside door panel to see what it can be, but I wanted to check here first.

Ordered a new regulator with motor from Amazon. Maybe that will sort it out. Read that the wires gets worn out and makes those noises.

My truck windows used to squeak when wet or dry. I lubricated the window rubber seals and no more problems.

GM sells something. I think I used a generic silicon spray.

Won’t the window be dirty from that stuff?

Just don't go crazy. I used the included straw and sprayed on the inside of the weatherstrip only. The tops and bottom of the weatherstrip was not an issue for me.
