Also there are 6 rubber lines on most of these trucks.
One at each caliper and two that go between the axle and frame.
Some only have one between the axle and frame. Can't remember the RPOs for the difference. Just look under your truck to see if you need 5 or 6.

The only ones I've found so far are the stop tech... I haven't found a full "kit" yet.
Also, they get mixed reviews as the oem brackets will have to be modified
to get everything to fit correctly
So... I might just leave oem lines alone.. I just know that the rubber lines
don't last forever.

Those braided lines don't last forever either. On the Corvette forum there was a guy in Florida driving on a long highway and his braided line gave way. Just a little FWIW

Question, for other cars I changed the lines more for the feeling than reliability of the rubber lines breaking or leaking. Are you guys changing them for the feel or preventative measures. I'm very happy with my braking currently but curious why you guys are going SS.
I did mine for a more solid feel. But I’ve also never had a brake hose fail in 50 years of driving and owning nor has anybody I’ve known. Not saying it doesn’t happen on a rare occasion but there’s plenty of other things that I would worry about more.
The SS brake lines "tend" to expand and contract less... So yes, you get
a more consistent feel... I figured I would maybe replace mine anyway just
for maint when doing the front brake upgrade.. So that's why I was looking
for the SS braided lines. But I know the an OEM replacement will work fine
and last for many years too. But if the aftermarket ones are a PIA to get
to fit.. then screw it.. the oem repl are cheap enough

Russell makes a set I’ve had on back order since May.. supposedly shipping July 9th. I’ll let ya know when they show up... I had a set on my gmt800 that were awesome. Russell speed bleeders rocked too!
