I am thinking about purchasing some SS brake lines, and do have prior experiance with them, had them on two previous Karmann Ghias I own, and worked great. But heard on these new brake systems, hydroboost, pressure system, ect. They don't help as much. Anybody have experience with them on there Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade? Just lookin for personal experience from some people, and how it worked for them. Are they worth the price?

Right on. Ya let me know if it makes a stiffer pedal for ya. I am wondering when it gets hot if it will even matter. Very interested. Always loved SS lines, but alittle hesitant from what I've been reading on other Chevy sites about them not making a big difference.

I installed them in all four corners along with the SSBC big brake kit. The result was not what I had hoped for. The pedal feels the same as before. I've bleed the brakes a few times since the install but maybe I have a tiny bit of air in the lines. If I were to do it over again, I'd put the ss line money into another mod. They do look better than stock hoses though.

JennaBear, knew you'de finally chime in, seem to always have some info to share. How did they work for you? Did they make a noticeable difference in feel and stopping? Do they still feel the same as day 1 when you installed. How long have you guys had them on?
Like BadLuck said, didn't seem to make as big of a difference as he thought, and have heard that from others. Just wondering if it's really worth the money in these new vehicles.

I mean I have always like SS lines, and had great success with them. But always on older vehicles. So, alittle skeptical. But if it's $100-175 well spent, I want to do.

Just trying to get some unbiased opinions

We installed the lines at the same time as the new rotors and pads, so that could have attributed to the better-than-stock feeling. I noticed a HUGE difference in stopping (since I had 20s on 33s, it was always a concern), and I felt more confident when applying the brake pedal.

I think a lot of what has to do with the SS lines is the install, in all honesty. Make sure the lines are properly bled, and make sure the rotors and pads are still in good shape (if not buying new).
