ss bumper with hd grill??????????

I am trying to install am ss bumper with an HD grill. I recently heard in order to install the hd grill you have to lower the bumper.. will I have to do the for the ss bumper as well???? And will there be a gap????

on mine, the one in the picture, i just cut about an inch off the bottom of the grille. you can also trim the cover. i didnt want to cut the cover at all. there would be a gap under the headlights if you lowered the bumperenough to clear the grille. i can shoot a close up tonight if you would like.

Yes can u show me and what did u use to cut the bottom of the grill and hoe much of it did u cut

if the SS bumper had the dip in the middle for the grill, it would look badass IMO...

i know the 03 silverado ss cover has the dip in the middle. dont know anything about the fit or if anything has to be moved or cut. i got this cover for really cheap so ill stick with it for now

i do not have many pictures from when i did it but it is a grille from an 2000-2002 hd truck. all you need to do is take the hd grill, put a tape line removing about 1" of the bottom of the grille use a cutting wheel or whatever you have to cut it and i used a file to smooth it up.
