Got one from myhotsuburban.com, kept the kit on my 2004 Suburban for a about half a month. The metal piece that holds the caliper higher for the larger rotors sucks. It crushes under the pressure of just tightening the bolts down......dont know how it was suppose to hold the caliper on. On the plus side the rotors are good quality. I had to bite the bullet and resell the kit for half of what i paid. I have a Stoptech kit that im going to put on when i get home from Afghan. Not trying to bash SSBC, may have just been the kit i got. Heard nothing but good things about the company before i got the kit. Just my 2 cents.

THere is a thread on here about putting the 2007+ tahoe, suburban brakes on, I priced it out and its about $450. Its known as the GMT900 brakes. They are about an inch bigger and from my understanding its the caliper and rotor that is also used in the 2500 models. Just waiting for my brakes to get worn out. I have a 06 suburban and would like some extra stopping power.

DarkTahoe00 has an SSBC kit on his Hoe and he's never said a bad word about it to me. I would seroiusly look into the 07+ conversion though, because it's alot cheaper.

Rotors
Power Slot Front Left Slotted Rotor 126.66057SL
Power Slot Front Right Slotted Rotor 126.66057SR

Check amazon, rockauto, google, and ebay. I found them for under $88 each at those sites. The kickerer is the matching rotors for our NBS's are around $100 each....

Calipers
ACDelco Durastop Front Left Caliper 19176794
ACDelco Durastop Front Right Caliper 19176793

I found them online at www.oehq.com for $55.47 each + a $24 core charge. I would rather get them from my local O'Reilly's, who has a $30 core, and not have to worry about not getting my core back because it's from a different year. O'Reilly's also price matches....

THe brackets should come with the new rotors. THe brackets are the most important part of it all. They hold the caliper out further to allow the larger rotor.

Anyone in So Cal need a 17" spare tire, let me know, I have 2 more to get rid of. Willing to trade for 16" spare at this point.
