I’m shopping to get a better radio for the truck.

I know we don’t have Onstar and that jazz.

Crutchfield’s online information is saying that the amp I’m looking at will isn’t compatible with the factory amplifier?

I made sure that I selected the Tahoe without the Bose system.

Anyone have any input on this please.

No factory amplifier in the PPV/SSV that I'm aware of.

When in doubt call Crutchfield.

I assumed that these trucks didn’t have it. I called crutchfield and confirmed, hopefully the radio gets here this coming week. Have a few days off and hope to get things done.

Get the wiring harness from Crutchfield too.And maybe an antenna adapter.
I just added a stereo and Rockford Fozgate front speaker combo set up to mine. Also added Hertz rear speakers. Havent done the amp yet. I ran all new 14 gauge speaker wires from speakers to HU. The amp will fit on the floor in front of the console.
