Hey y’all,

Been a minute since I was last on here.

Before I go into my question, THANK YOU to All on the Front Line of this Pandemic!

I’m essential working in the backfield at a compounding pharmacy, making IV drip bags to ease the patient.

ok ok ok,

??? how do you disable the stabilitrak on our trucks. I bet your all gonna say, programming, I can turn off the traction control with a switch, is there such an animal for the stabilitrak?

Thanks

Be safe keep the distance it’s slowly working.

like Tom said keep holding the button in, only turns it off until the you cycle the key again, if you want a more permanent solution you can wire in a toggle switch to the abs fuse and turn it off at will, you will get the nanny abs light but it will go away when you toggle the abs back on.

Why you ask??? I’m an ole fart!!! Love to be able to sling the butt of this Tahoe around a bit. Also I have property North of me. The driveway is 3/4’s of a mile off the main road( if u can call it a main rd). It’s all dirt/mud/ice/snow. If friggin hate it when the vehicle starts to stumble slow cause it’s slipping, bull spit!! Hammer down!!

I am with you there.. I turn mine off on occasion to getter loose... But, just about when things start sliding best the rev-limiter kicks in... I believe the cure to that is what Wes mentioned above installing a switch..

I get it ~ sometimes to be in control - you gotta be out of control! Safe motoring brothers.
