Stalling, no codes

I can't win. Seems every time I fix one thing a new problem arises. So I went to park in a spot and the engine shut down. I cranked, it tried to start, and stalled. I can hear the pump running when I cycle the key. Then I gave it some throttle while cranking and it started. It was loaded up with fuel, the smell was a dead giveaway of the cats burning it off. I left and while sitting at a red light it almost stalled again. I gave it some throttle while holding the break to keep it running. I got home and parked. I did some research and I'm wondering if it's the cam position sensor or if it's the computer, or something else entirely. Anyone else have similar issues or is a familiar GM tech?

New knock sensors and harness
New spark plugs/wires
New intake gaskets
New pcv valve
Newer fuel pump
New 02 sensors
New cats
New thermostat
New map sensor
Rebuilt trans

Also I have a hand scanner that stopped working with this vehicle yet my larger scanner still works with it. All fuses are good. It did link to state obd2 computer for emissions.

Off hand i dont know if the 00 5.3 had an electronic throttle body but it sounds like and idle air control valve issue.

Most vehicles with the electronic tb the function of the idle air control valve is built into the tb. Mechanical tb has a separate part that can exhibit the same symptoms when it starts to fail.

Well I know it's not the cats. They are new. I was leaning between cam sensor, computer, or throttle body. I had my mechanic buddy look it up on IATN and most common issue was the throttle body. I'm going to pull it off and take it apart, give it a thorough cleaning and cross my fingers that it solves the problem. I really don't want to pull the intake back off to do a cam sensor and I don't want to have to pay the dealer to reflash the computer.

Is the MAF dirty? Clean it.

SLCHOE, I have cleaned the MAF sensor. I think when I ran the intake through the parts washer I got some dirt in the throttle body. I should have taken it off before hand. It isn't as bad now... when it starts to stumble I throttle it up and it fizzles out. I am planning on pulling the throttle body off and giving it a thorough cleaning. Maybe just replace the TPS.
